What is Disney Movies Anywhere?

Disney Movies Anywhere is an app and website where you can browse, buy and watch your collection of eligible Disney, Disney•Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars titles across your favorite devices. Enjoy exclusive content, special bonus features, and earn points toward great rewards with your digital purchases through Disney Movies Anywhere. Easily manage, stream, and download your digital movie collection anywhere you go.

Sign in using your existing Disney Account or create a new account. It's free and easy to sign up.

Download the free app for compatible devices from the Apple App Store (iOS 7 and above), the Google Play Store (Android 4.1 and above), the Amazon App Store (Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Kindle 7” & 8.9” HDX devices), the Xbox Market Place (Xbox 360), or access Disney Movies Anywhere on your computer (PC or Mac) through DisneyMoviesAnywhere.com.

What is Digital Copy Plus?

Digital Copy Plus is a website that allows you to redeem a Digital Copy with the participating provider of your choice from any web browser on a connected device. In addition, you can unlock great offers, rewards, and extras – all by simply entering your code. Please note offers and participating providers may vary by title and by region; please enter your code to find out what you can unlock!

Digital Copy Plus operates best on the following browsers:

What is Digital Copy?

Digital Copy is the digital file of the movie that is included with your Blu-ray or DVD. With Digital Copy, you have the freedom to watch your movie anywhere you go, across your favorite devices.

How do I redeem my Digital Copy?

It's fast and easy:

  1. Find the code on your insert
  2. Enter your code
  3. Choose your preferred participating digital provider
  4. Follow the instructions to log onto your selected provider's site and enjoy your movie!

What is included with my Digital Copy?

Depending on which title you purchase and the participating provider you choose, your Digital Copy may include a high definition or standard definition version of your movie. High definition movies may adjust to standard definition on compatible devices or screens that do not support higher resolutions. Your Digital Copy may also include bonus features. Please check with your chosen provider for more details.

What happened to the Digital Copy disc?

For many titles, a Digital Copy disc is no longer necessary. You now have the flexibility to enter your code from most connected devices and enjoy your movie at home or anywhere you go!

Can I redeem my Digital Copy from my mobile device(s)?

Yes! You can enter your code from within the browser of most connected devices to redeem and watch your movie. Please note, not all participating providers are accessible from all devices. Tell me more.

Is an Internet connection required to redeem and watch my Digital Copy?

Yes, you will need to connect to the Internet in order to redeem your Digital Copy.

Playback will vary by participating provider. For download, once your movie has downloaded to your device an Internet connection is no longer needed. Streaming requires an Internet connection. Please check with your chosen provider for playback-specific questions.

What Digital Copy movies can I redeem on this website?

Select Digital Copy titles from Walt Disney Pictures, Disney•Pixar, Marvel, Touchstone, ABC, Disney Channel, and DreamWorks Pictures, can be redeemed on this website. Titles released prior to June 2013 may require the Digital Copy disc. Please refer to the insert from your Blu-ray or DVD package for specific instructions.

What is Disney Movie Rewards?

Disney Movie Rewards is a membership-based loyalty program that offers access to great rewards and offers, member surprises, the inside scoop on movies and points for purchasing Disney Blu-rays and DVDs. Tell me more.

What happens if my Digital Copy redemption is interrupted before it's complete?

You will have the opportunity to confirm whether your redemption was successful and try again if necessary. If you are not directed to a confirmation page, just enter your code again to find out what to do next.

How large is my Digital Copy file?

Typically, downloaded standard definition Digital Copy files take up approximately 1-2 Gigabytes of space, and high definition files can take up to 2-4 GB. Bonus features can double these space requirements.

Where do I find the Digital Copy code?

The code can be found on the front of the insert inside your DVD or Blu-ray package.

How many times can I use my Digital Copy code?

Your Digital Copy code can be used to redeem your Digital movie with one participating provider. Note that if you choose Disney Movies Anywhere as your provider, your movie will be added to your Disney Movies Anywhere Collection AND your connected Participating Providers' (iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU, Google Play, or Microsoft Movies & TV) library.

Select digital copy code can also be used to unlock points and offers through Disney Movie Rewards. Please note Disney Movies Rewards is not available in all territories. Disney Movies Anywhere is available in the US and certain territories and possessions.

Why did I receive a second code?

Some participating redemption providers require a second code that is unique to their platform for Digital Copy redemption. Please follow your selected provider's onscreen instructions to complete your redemption with their code.

Why is my Digital Copy code different than my selected provider's code?

Your Digital Copy code is used to unlock your offers and confirms your eligibility for a Digital Copy. In order to redeem your Digital Copy in some cases you may need a separate code that is issued by your selected participating provider.

What else can I do with my Digital Copy code?

Your Digital Copy code provides you with access to various special offers, sweepstakes, upgrades, rewards and more. These offers vary by title and by territory and additional terms and conditions may apply; please enter your Digital Copy code to find out what you can unlock!

What if I get an invalid code error message?

Please check that you are entering the correct characters. As some letters and numbers look similar, please be sure the code is being entered correctly. For example: B vs. 8, S vs. 5, 0 vs. o, I vs. 1, W vs. VV. If you have not previously used your code and are still receiving an “Invalid Code” message, please email us at Support@DigitalCopyHelp.com to request a new code. Please include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Was your code Misplaced, Missing, or Invalid?
  • If your code was invalid, what is your invalid code?
  • The 6-digit stock number that is listed on the base of the spine of your DVD or Blu-ray package. This number will start in either a 0 or a 1.
  • The disc artwork number from your DVD or Blu-ray. Look at the printed label side of your disc, the disc artwork number is found at the very end and is 5-7 digits in length.
  • The UPC number located under the barcode on your DVD or Blu-ray package.

My code or insert is missing - what should I do?

If you did not receive a code sheet or your codes sheet is blank, please email us at Support@DigitalCopyHelp.com to request a new code. Please include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Was your code Misplaced, Missing, or Invalid?
  • If your code was invalid, what is your invalid code?

Why am I unable to redeem Star Wars: The Force Awakens pre-order through my preferred digital retailer?

The pre-order is currently available for redemption through Disney Movies Anywhere, VUDU, or Amazon Video. You can also redeem your pre-order through Disney Movies Anywhere, and on the digital release date, your movie will be available in your Disney Movies Anywhere account and in any connected participating provider accounts.

When will the pre-order for Star Wars: The Force Awakens be available?

The release date for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has not yet been announced.

From how many participating providers can I redeem my Digital Copy?

Each Digital Copy code allows you to redeem with your choice of one participating provider, so please choose carefully. Explore your options.

Note that if you choose Disney Movies Anywhere as your provider, your movie will be added to both your Disney Movies Anywhere Collection AND your connected Participating Providers’ (iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU, Google Play, or Microsoft Movies & TV) libraries. If you sign up for Disney Movies Anywhere and do not see your Digital Copies in your Disney Movies Anywhere Collection, enter your Digital Copy code in the Rewards section of Disney Movies Anywhere.

How do I Connect Disney Movies Anywhere to my participating providers account(s)?

To connect a participating provider account to your Disney Movies Anywhere account, follow the instructions below.

  1. Sign in to your Disney Movies Anywhere account and go to your Settings
  2. Select “Account”
  3. Select “Connect Accounts”
  4. Select the participating provider(s) account(s) you would like to connect
  5. You will be guided to your selected participating provider to complete the process.
  6. Follow all on-screen instructions to connect your accounts.
  7. Return to Disney Movies Anywhere and go to “Connect Accounts” in your Settings to confirm that your accounts are connected

You may connect one account per participating provider to your Disney Movies Anywhere account. You can disconnect and connect the account at any time, but you will not be able to connect to a different account with that participating provider for 180 days.

Connecting your participating provider account syncs all your eligible Disney, Disney•Pixar Marvel, and Star Wars titles between both services. The movies in your participating provider account are subject to the terms and conditions of that service.

Registration with a participating provider is required in order to successfully connect your Disney Movies Anywhere account with that participating provider. Each participating provider’s terms and conditions, including eligibility requirements, apply to your creation and use of an account with that participating provider. How do I tell which Digital Copy providers are available with my Blu-ray or DVD before I buy?

Digital Providers will vary for some Digital Copy titles. iTunes, for example, will not be available on all titles. You can, however, still enjoy your Digital Copy on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch through the VUDU or the Amazon Instant Video app in the U.S. Both apps are available through the iTunes App Store and are free to download.
